I'm not receiving any alerts. What's wrong?
First, check that notifications are enabled for Motor Notice in your device's notification settings. If they are, give it 24 hours — for niche makes and models, matches may take time to surface. If you see matches in the app feed but no notifications, message us and we'll dig in.
A car I saw on Facebook Marketplace isn't showing in my feed.
We sample listings across Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, eBay Motors, and Bring a Trailer. Some listings are limited-distribution or seller-restricted and don't always surface. Most do, but coverage isn't 100%. We're working to close this gap.
How often do you check for new listings?
Free tier: hourly checks within a 250-mile radius. Pro tier: more frequent checks, nationwide. The actual time between a listing posting and your notification depends on the source platform's indexing speed.
How do I cancel my Pro subscription?
On iPhone: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Motor Notice → Cancel Subscription. On Android: Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. You'll keep Pro access until the end of your current billing period. We don't lock you in.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. If you subscribed on our website, request a refund within 7 days of a renewal charge and we'll refund it and end your Premium access (the $1 introductory charge and charges more than 7 days old aren't refundable — you can cancel anytime to stop future renewals). App Store purchases are refunded by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. For Google Play, contact us and we'll honor the same 7-day window.
What information does the app collect?
Only what's needed to deliver alerts: email address, the location criteria you enter (for radius matching), push notification token, and your saved search criteria. We never sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Settings → Account → Delete Account. Or visit the account deletion page for the email option — deletion is immediate in-app, and all provider copies are purged within 30 days.
Can I request a feature?
Absolutely. Email support@motornotice.com or use in-app feedback. We read everything and respond personally.
The app crashed or showed a bug. What now?
Crashes are automatically reported to our team (without any of your personal data). If something looks broken or a feature isn't working as expected, email us with your device model, OS version, and a screenshot if possible. That helps us fix it fast.
