SideQuest Labs ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Motor Notice mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our App. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
Motor Notice uses coarse location only. When you enter a ZIP code in a saved search, we convert it to approximate coordinates so we can match listings within your selected radius. We do not request precise GPS access, and we do not track your device's location in the background.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account at any time from within the App (Settings → Account → Delete Account) or by emailing support@motornotice.com from the address associated with your account. We will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain limited records for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes. See how to delete your account.
We use Expo's push notification infrastructure to deliver listing alerts to your device. Your push token is stored securely in our database and associated with your account. Push tokens are only used to send you notifications you have opted into. You can revoke notification permission at any time in your device settings.
When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive a limited profile (name, email, and a unique identifier) from those providers. We do not receive your social media passwords. Passwords for email accounts are hashed and salted using industry-standard methods.
All payment processing is handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not collect or store your credit card or payment information. RevenueCat is used to verify subscription status. See RevenueCat's privacy policy for details.
Motor Notice is not directed to children under 13, or under 16 in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below those ages. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Motor Notice does not contain advertisements. We do not use advertising identifiers (such as Apple's IDFA or Android's Advertising ID), and we do not share data with advertising networks or data brokers. We do not engage in cross-app or cross-site behavioral tracking, and we do not sell or rent your personal information.
We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. This includes encrypted connections (TLS) and row-level security on our database. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

Motor Notice is operated from the United States. If you are accessing the App from outside the US, your data will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the App, you consent to this transfer.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
